it's just 128*128 HD template o 3o"
to make skin in HD quality you can try make from korean japanese or thai server or anyother server that already have HD system

the way I draw skin is not so fancy, I use only ordinary mouse and only skineditor.
try use the tool that you're good with
( I use only the line tool in skin editor, I think pen tool is too hard to controle by ordinary mouse )
